Queen of Owls

This costume was inspired by Nene Thomas’ Queen of Owls portrait.  It took over 70 hours to design and create.  I took 2nd in my devision at the 2008 Gen Con costume contest.  I also took 2nd place at the Bristol Ren Faire 2010 Fantasy Costume Contest. This is the 3rd costume I made.  It is so far my favorite creation.

  

This was the first time I wore this dress.  I wore it to the Elgin Faerie Fest .  I also made my childrens costumes.
